Targeted Training

Identify and transform those patterns with workouts incorporating Pilates, ELDOA and myofascial stretch exercises. Pilates emphasizes proper postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance. ELDOA is a stretching and strengthening technique for the spine and joints of the body. Myofascial stretching is one of the safest and most effective ways to create space and balance in the body.

My Methodology

Personal, One-On-One Training

Workouts involve Balanced Body and Stott Pilates equipment including the Reformer, Trapeze tower and Step Barrel. With a focus on increased mobility, stability, strength and balance, each session will support your short- and long-term goals. Once you notice how it feels to move and work out more functionally, you’ve got the underpinnings of a better, brighter body, regardless of age or fitness level.

During my years breaking new ground at CityTV as this country’s first female videographer and lugging a 30lb Betacam everywhere, I soon felt the relentless physical demands. The 17 years I spent working in that field led to spinal compression and myofascial imbalances in my alignment. Discovering Pilates enabled me to continue doing what I loved and led me to where I am today.

Movement Coach

For over 20 years I’ve been studying and working in the fields of Pilates, Kundalini yoga, craniosacral therapy, visceral release, ELDOA and myofascial stretch. I don’t teach this work as much as live it, because these forms of exercise and treatment reversed years of accumulated tension and strain in my body. Sessions with clients are collaborations; my role is to coach, guide and illuminate the capabilities of each unique body.
